[edit] Modifikationen
- Telnet: Aufgrund des kleinen Speichers wurde bei der Firmware an allen Ecken eingespart. Daher ist (zumindest bei fw 04.67) kein Telnet Dienst enthalten. Alle Nachladetechniken von telnetd oder dropbear scheitern da im Kernel garkeine pty Devices eingebaut sind! Mit Freetz lässt sich eine modifizierte Firmware bauen (Replace Kernel aktivieren!) die dieses Limit nicht hat.
- Freetz: Kann erweiterte Versionen der FRITZ!Box Fon 5140 Firmware erzeugen.
- OpenWRT: Zur Zeit gibt es keine FRITZ!Box Fon 5140 spezifische Seite im AVM Hardware oldwiki oder nuwiki.
